Lexington summer collection 2022 - living in paradise

We all have our paradise or at least a dream of it. That dream includes enjoying lazy summer days, practicing the art of doing nothing, spending quality time with friends and family, feasting on good food, and sipping refreshing drinks. However, the actual environment of our dreams can vary: for example, it can be an exotic island, an elegant yacht, or a small beach house in a hidden spot. It doesn't really matter, as long as you get the feeling that you are in your paradise.

The fleeting summers here in Belgium make the season extra precious. Summer is a paradise for us, we enjoy everything this period has to offer and would like to extend this season endlessly. Lexington's 2022 summer collection was inspired by that feeling. It's about feeling free and avoiding all obligations for a while. In addition, Kristina Lindhe, creative director of Lexington, also took inspiration from the sophisticated safari look this year. Mild colors, such as a soft green, oat yellow and coral pink are combined with fresh blue and white. Together, these colors evoke a true summer feeling.

The watercolor stripe we already saw in previous Lexington collections makes a comeback this season. This new version combines well with the new leaf print in the collection. This print is available in green/white and blue/white. The same colors are also found in all of this year's bedding, plaids and decorative pillows. The soft green is used to emphasize the safari inspiration. The coral pink decorative floral prints and stripes, seen in the decorative pillows, evoke a flirty summer vibe.
